Living Life
Doesn’t
Need to Seem like
Matching Puzzle Pieces
Finding the missing pieces to confusing puzzles of life can sometimes seem an arduous, if not impossible task. Sometimes we become frustrated because we know we can solve this new life puzzle, if only we could find the missing piece that would pull everything together. At other times life may seem so overwhelming that we simply want to give up.
Life doesn't need to seem so hopeless. At the office of Dr. Wolstencroft, you have a friend every step of the way, whenever needed. As an organization, the office is dedicated to offering the best professional care available. More than that it is committed to providing the confidential and personal help necessary to help you make the most of your home, your marriage, and your life.
Changes come in various shapes and sizes. I often tell people that you can take the most healthy person, give them enough severe stress and in time they will feel like giving up on themselves and God. Even more surprising is that we do not even need to undergo a change directly. One can experience the death of a spouse, a child or a close friend; be a caretaker for one with a severe or chronic illness; suffer the loss of a dream or sustain a job layoff. All of these situations can effect us.
. . . It is not unusual for someone walking through such deep valleys to ask "Who am I?" and "Why am I here?" Sometimes it is difficult to recover from life itself. Our world is stress-filled and complex. It has often victimized people of great worth and potential. The truth is that we can learn to have hope. We can recover and come back stronger and more secure than before. We can begin once again to enjoy life the way it was always meant.”

Dr. Wolstencroft has been active in the mental healthfield for over twenty years. His educational training includes a PhD in Human Sciences from Florida State University. In addition, he earned graduate degrees in Theology and Christian Education from the Westminster and Reformed Theological Seminaries. He is licensed in the State of Georgia as a professional counselor at the doctoral level. His professional experience includes being on staff with several leading hospital treatment programs in Georgia. He is a member of the American Association of Christian Counselors, the National Professional Consortium on Attention Deficit Disorders, and holds certification as a gerontologist from Florida State University.
Dr. Wolstencroft believes that counseling services are best balanced when a counselor has formal psychological and theological training along with supervised clinical skills. He states, “Our culture’s post modern moral decline demands that today’s counselors know how to rebuild a person’s theological, mental and emotional foundations for living.”
